If these were normal times, we’d be celebrating Free Week right about now and telling you to check out all the amazing live music venues our city has to offer. Of course, these are not normal times and that annual event has been canceled. So we thought it would be a good time to send some love to Austin’s live music scene and the clubs that have been seriously struggling during the pandemic.

With the passing of the latest federal relief bill, help is on the way, but it will take a few months for that aid to arrive. The NIVA Emergency Relief Fund, with The Giving Back Fund as its 501(c)3 fiscal sponsor, continues to raise money to assist the venues at greatest risk of permanently going under as we wait for the grants to be issued.
