There’s no shortage of holiday markets to check off everyone on your naughty and nice list.
Now through December 24th
Blue Genie Art Bazaar is an Austin tradition, filled with local vendors. You can shop in-store or online (pick-up or shipping is available). Plus they have a scavenger hunt to keep kids entertained while you shop.
November 30th
Makers Market at the Violet Crown is an austinfeelgoodmarket event. You can expect 16+ vendors selling handmade crafts, delicious treats, or one-of-a-kind gifts. Plus, enjoy coffee or wine from Violet Crown while you shop.
Shop small at Golden Hour’s Small Business Saturday Market from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. This market will feature a wide range of vendors from jewelry to stow-away tiny tables to skincare.
December 1st
Busty’s Bar will be hosting a Holiday Market starting at 11 a.m. Indulge in seasonal cocktails as you shop vintage vendors, vinyls, and a bake sale that benefits their favorite bakers sick pup.
December 3rd
Umlauf Sculpture’s Holiday Market seems like the place you could find that unique gift for the impossible person to shop for. They’ll have up to 26 vendors to help you find the perfect piece. But even if you don’t find that perfect gift, Garbo’s will be there with food and beverages, you can walk the gardens in the evening, and they’ll even have a harp player.
December 5th
Collected by Blackbirds is hosting their First Annual Holiday Soiree: Sip and Shop Donation Drive. Not only will they have an incredible collection of vintage Christmas sweaters and holiday party wear for you, they’ll also be collecting donations for SAFE Alliance. Bring a gift on the SAFE Alliance wish list and receive 5% off your purchase.
Kaiju Cut + Sew is organizing Meanwhile Brewing’s happy hour Holiday Market this year. From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., they’ll have a variety of vendors including jewelry, ceramics, and handcrafted leather goods. Once your shopping is done, head to the stage for free photos with Santa Claus!
December 6th through 21st (weekends only)
The Bee Cave Holiday Market will run on the weekends with a rotating lineup of local artist vendors. Bring your friends and family to enjoy ice skating, holiday music and many fun activities as well!
December 6th
Austin Artisan Market and Ani’s Day & Night are teaming up for a German Holiday Market. Skip the frosty weather and immerse yourself in a German holiday dreamscape with vendors, mulled wine, pastries, and live music.
December 7th
Keep Austin Bazaar with Easton Park. This kid friendly market will run from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.. Easton Park will host a gaggle of local vendors, plus Santa Claus, balloon art, face painting, model home activations, live music, and more.
Explore handcrafted treasures from local artists at The Loren’s Holiday Market. This free event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. will be held in their cafe with sips, snacks, and holiday cheer.
Looking to pump it up a notch? Catch the Feels So Good Holiday Market from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. They’ll have live DJs going while you shop your heart out. Plus they’ll have free food and drinks flowing.
Wheatsville annual Art Festival is here and they’re not holding back. 65+ vendors, live music, tattoos, art classes, samples, and more. They’ll be going from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. so you have all day to get in there and find some one of a kind gifts.
December 7th and 8th
Austin Creative Reuse is a local nonprofit known for accepting donations of pre loved art supplies and getting it into the hands of local schools, educators and nonprofits, and the general creative community. Their Holiday Reuse Market is back this year and bigger than ever. They’ll have 40+ sustainable and small vendors on site with unique and handcrafted goods on site.
If you’re looking for the big daddy of markets, check out the Market for Makers at the Palmer Event Center. Shop 120+ local makers, snap a pic at their photo wall, or get in touch with your creative side at their DIY stations.
December 8th
Jo’s Coffee and Hotel San Jose are teaming up for a Holiday Block Party from noon to 5 p.m. Not only will they have tons of vendors, they will also have live chainstitching, holiday treats and drinks, and vintage cars to ogle.
Another Bunkhouse location, Saint Cecilia, will also be hosting a Holiday Market from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. As one of their more exclusive hotels, they’ll open up the grounds to all as they host unique vendors, live music, and treats from their lounge.
Hailing themselves as the gayest, queerest, ho ho homoest event of the year, the Holigay Market will be at Distribution Hall from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Little Gay Shop will host 100+ queer and local artists, makers, businesses, and nonprofits for their holiday market. If that isn’t enough for you, they’ll also have a Drag Santa photobooth! The event is free but if you RSVP, you enter to win a $500 prize package.
Jingle and Mingle is a Family Winter Festival at SquareRut Kava Bar’s historic Oak Hill location. From 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., they’ll have a vendor market in their dog friendly outdoor space, photos with Santa, a baby goat meet and greet, craft stations, face painting, and so much more.
December 14th
Santa is headed to Rancho Moonrise for their Holiday Honky Tonk. After shopping their holiday artisan market, enjoy the live music, two-step lessons, barbecue, and of course photos with Santa.
Zach Theatre is the place to get into the holiday cheer. If you don’t have a chance to see A Christmas Carol there, at least you can check out their holiday market from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. They’ll have local artisans, hand crafted treasures, and fun for the whole family.
Maggie’s Holiday Market is back at Hotel Magdalena from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Not only will they have local vendors, live music and winter cocktails on their gorgeous lawn, they’ll also have a hands on workshop you can join to create your own beaded bow keychain!
When you’re shopping for that person with the green thumb, keep East Austin Succulents x Cactus Market ATX’s Winter Market in mind. The market will run from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a wide range of plant vendors to choose from. Bring a wagon for your haul!
The Frost Moon Faire will be a day filled with magic and whimsy. The extensive list of Austin artists will take over the Art for the People Gallery parking lot from noon to 5 p.m. Art for the People will also be holding an Art Quest with fun prizes as the same time so don’t forget to pop in for your clue card!
December 14th and 15th
American Field is teaming up with Yeti for a Texas Bred Holiday Market. They’ll have a curated mix of their favorite brands at the Yeti Flagship shop.
The free Holiday Vibe Artisans Market will be a mostly indoor 2-day event featuring 110+ artisans, creatives, and makers each day. Distribution Halls will be opening their doors to the market and have even invited Rivian for demos, live music, refreshments, and globally inspired chefs.
LatinFest by Flores Market is more than just a 2-day celebration of Latine music. They’ll also have an artisan vendor market, MASKS art show, and creative workshops to enjoy. This lively celebration will be help at the Canopy from noon to 5 p.m. both days.
December 14th through 23rd
Armadillo Christmas Bazaar is returning for their 49th season at the Palmer Events Center. Shop nearly 200 artists, enjoy live music from 30 bands, and overall enjoy the festive vibes. The Armadillo Bazaar is an iconic Austin tradition that honors community and creativity.
December 15th
Enjoy the beautiful space that is The Cathedral at their Holiday Market. They’ll have an afternoon of holiday shopping with local art and one-of-a-kind gifts from Austin’s top women and non-binary artists. Including 100+ curated gifts under $100 and unique gifts starting at $15. Enjoy an afternoon viewing and shopping fine art made by local artists while sipping complimentary festive cocktails.
