Hope for Senegal Independence Day Celebration

Make a difference in the world by helping thousands of students who are yearning for some good learning!

HOPE for Senegal is bringing West African artists, musicians and food vendors to share, enjoy, and raise funds. Local schools are helping out too.

This celebration will have face painting for kids, a pencil decorating art station, entertainment and much more!

Since its start in 2011 HOPE for Senegal has created 97 scholarships for girls to attend high school, built a new science lab for a school of 4,000 students, established a sustainable teaching garden in partnership with the Peace Corps, and supported student-lead tutoring and computer training programs.  With your help, we plan to send 100 girls to school, help 120 street kids to have access to high quality tutoring, and support locally led projects to improve education and sustainability in 2016.
