We’re fortunate in Austin to have so many locally-owned restaurants with delicious food for an affordable price. To top that off, many of these establishments offer Kids Eat Free specials on certain days of the week. On those days when you just don’t feel like preparing a meal for the family, check out this round-up of restaurants in Austin offering free meals for the kids in the family.

Most of the restaurants below offer free meals to kids ages 12 and under, except when otherwise noted. We recommend that you call to confirm the offer before heading out to eat.

  • Austin Daily Press – Kids eat free from the kid’s menu all day on Saturday.
  • Be More Pacific – Kids eat free on Thursday from 4-10 pm. Enjoy happy hour while you’re at it from 4-7 pm.
  • Blue Corn Harvest Grill (Cedar Park) – Kids eat free all day on Monday, with the purchase of an adult meal.
  • Brick Oven (Arboretum location) – Kids eat free on Tuesdays, all day. Must purchase one adult meal for one free kid’s meal.
  • Central Market – North Lamar location: Kids eat free on Tuesdays from 5 to 9 pm, with the purchase of an adult entree. Westgate location: kids eat free on Wednesdays from 5 to 9 pm, with the purchase of an adult entree.
  • Colleen’s Kitchen – Kids eat free on Tuesday from 4 pm-close.
  • Dickey’s BBQ Pit – Kids under 12 eat free all day on Sunday, with the purchase of an adult meal valued at $10.
  • El Rincon (Pflugerville) Kids 12 and under eat free on Monday from 5-9 pm with the purchase of an adult meal.
  • Estancia Brazilian Steakhouse – Kids 6 and under eat free daily. Kids 7-12 years old are half price.
  • Greenhouse Craft Food (Round Rock) – Kids eat free on Monday from 2 pm-close. One free kid’s meal with the purchase of an adult meal. On Monday’s, take advantage of the BOGO burger special as well!
  • Gusto Italian kitchen + wine bar – Kids can enjoy a free kids’ meal from 4 to 10 pm on Sundays, with the purchase of an adult meal.
  • Iron Cactus – Kids 4 and under eat free (buffet) on Sunday (and special occasions) from 10 am – 3 pm.
  • Jim’s – Kids eat free on Sunday and Monday from 5-9 pm, with the purchase of an adult meal.
  • Kerbey Lane Cafe – Kids eat free all day on Tuesday with the purchase of an adult entree. All locations.
  • Luby’s – Kids eat free on Wednesday and Saturday. A kid’s meal includes an entree, 2 sides, Jell-O & Drink or Three-Veggie Plate, Jello & Drink.
  • Modern Market – Kids eat free on Sunday and Monday from 5 pm to close, with the purchase of an adult entree.
  • Olive & June – Kids eat free at Olive & June’s Sunday dinner from 5 to 9 pm, with the purchase of an adult fixed-price dinner meal.
  • Opal Divine’s – Kids eat free on Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm, with the purchase of an adult entree. Kids eat for half price on Saturday from 3-10 pm.
  • Pluckers (Round Rock) – Kids eat free all day on Tuesday.
  • Salt Lick – Both locations offer kids 3 and under free meals all day, every day, with the purchase of family dinner.
  • Sazon – Kids eat free all day on Wednesday, with the purchase of an adult entree.
  • Slab BBQ & Beer – Kids eat free on Wednesday from 4 pm to closing time.
  • Steak ‘n Shake – Kids eat free on Saturday and Sunday. One free kid’s meal for every $9 you spend.
  • Texadelphia (Lakeline location) – Kids can select a free kids’ meal after 4 pm on Mondays, Tuesday, and Wednesday with the purchase of an adult meal and drink.
  • Tres Amigos – Kids can select a free kids’ meal from the Los Ninos menu on Monday between 4 and 8 pm, with the purchase of an adult entree.
  • Zen Japanese Food – Kids eat free all day on Saturday and Sunday.
  • ZuZu’s – Kids eat free Monday – Thursday from 5 pm-close. Two free items from the kid’s menu with each adult platter purchase. Excludes kids’ pizza and roasted chicken.
