Today Made In is bringing Chef Matt Horn of the upcoming Horn Barbecue restaurant in West Oakland, CA together with Chef Fermín Nuñez of Suerte in Austin for a collaborative culinary experience!

Chef Horn’s barbecue roots and family are in Texas and he returns here this month to reconnect with the flavors and influences that have shaped his cuisine. He will collaborate with Chef Fermín on a unique menu items that blends hisTexas style barbecue with the award-winning modern Mexican, for which Suerte is famous. These menu items will be available for one night only, dine-in and take-out at Suerte, in East Austin.

Both Chefs have selected charitable organizations near and dear to them, 50% of the proceeds with go to Austin Justice Coalition to support their ongoing efforts in social justice reform and 50% of the proceeds will go to the Mike and Sherry Foundation, which supports Food & Beverage industry members with mental health support and education. Made In will match 100% of the donations to each organization.
