Sippin’ Santa is the combo of tiki and Christmas you never knew you always needed. Imagine Santa on a surfboard instead of a sleigh and palm trees instead of pine. This holiday pop-up experience like no other started in New York City and has now spread 27 locations across North America, including our beloved local watering hole, Nickel City!

This year’s drink roster includes the Kris Kringle Colada (Dark Jamaican Rum, Cynar, Allspice, Lime & Pineapple Juice and Cream of Coconut) and the Christmas Eve of Destruction (Dark Overproof Rum, Herbal Liqueur, Nutmeg Syrup, Lime Juice and Angostura Bitters).

Head over to Nickel City tonight for a tropical tiki Christmas. Parties of 6-10 can email events@nickelcityatx.com to guarantee entry for their group by reserving a table for 90 minutes.

When: November 27th – December 30th

Location:
Nickel City
1133 E. 11th Street
Austin, TX 78702

In her previous life, Kristy was an uninspired realtor who was feeling a little bit bored with her day to day. So on January 1, 2010, she made a New Year’s resolution to write about one thing to do each day in her beloved city of Austin, Texas. And thus, 365 Things Austin was born.
