The popular Eastside “chicken-movers” at Spicy Boys have turned their sister truck, Soursop, into a pop-up serving their delicious fried chicken, sandwiches, wings, and sides.
The truck, located on the patio of St. Elmo brewing, offers QR coded menus from the brewery’s tables and allows you to place orders and pay conveniently from your phone. If you’re looking for a socially distanced date night, or just to eat good chicken and drink good beers with your friends, this brewery/trailer combo checks all the boxes.
We went with the OG Chicken Sandwich (fried chicken with Thai basil ranch and papaya relish, sweet chili honey, scallion, and crispy shallots), and the HOT GAI Chicken Sandwich (fried Chicken with pickles, massaman mayonnaise, Thai basil, and cheese), along with appetizers of Roti with Panang Curry, and SOM TAM (shredded green papaya salad, marinated in tamarind, garlic, lime juice and soy sauce; tossed with Thai basil, roasted peanuts and house-made chili crisp).
No word on how long the pop-up will last, so you should check it out sooner rather than later.
