Hike up the steps of Mount Bonnell and soak up a spectacular view of the Austin sunset! The limestone height stands at 775 feet above sea level and is considered to be the highest point within the city limits.

Mount Bonnell is one of Austin’s oldest attractions, dating back to the 1850s. When you reach the top you get truly breathtaking views of Downtown Austin and the 360 bridge, it is by far the best place to go for a panoramic view of the city.

To get to Mount Bonnell:
Take 35th Street past Camp Mabry
Go left at the fork onto Old Bull Creek Road
Right on Mount Bonnell Road (You will start to see parking on your left.)
