RSVP where you can, but take it from us very seasoned professionals—the best plans you can make for SXSW are no plans. Go into the heart of the beast and just see what you can get into. If the party you were hoping to attend is packed, there’s likely live music and free drinks somewhere nearby with no lines. See you all out there!
Netflix’s 3 Body Problem Experience
12th Annual Luck Reunion
Celebrated as one of the most joyous musical events of the year, Luck Reunion will return to Willie Nelson’s famed “Luck, TX” ranch on Thursday, March 14th, 2024. The event will feature over 40 musical acts, culinary experiences with renowned chefs from across the nation, local artisans, and one-of-a-kind merchandise. Luck Reunion remains an iconic opportunity for fans to experience live music from the backyard of the Red Headed Stranger himself.

Fader’s Up: The John Aielli Experience
The official SXSW 2024 premiere of Faders Up: The John Aielli Experience will be on Sunday, March 10th at the Paramount Theatre. Directed by Sam Wainwright Douglas and David Hartstein, and produced in association with Dox, the film features exclusive archival footage, stylized recreations, and heartfelt accolades to a beautifully eccentric and often surreal radio legend.

Black Future House
A festival in its own right, Black Future House is a one-of-a-kind event uniting over 20 prominent organizations across tech, sports, entertainment, activism, health, travel, and entrepreneurship. Their 2024 lineup includes visionaries and influencers like Arlan Hamilton, Melissa Bradley, Elaine Welteroth, Corey Coleman, Jeff Jenkins, and so many more.

Spur’s Night
The Spurs are teaming up with SXSW for this free community concert at Lady Bird Lake. Fans can help raise $100,000 for PlayATX and Austin Parks Foundation by participating in the on-site raffle. Free entry for all ages, live music, games, photo ops, and free swag.

OXOXOX Presented by Glo2Facial

Join Waterloo Greenway, Delta, and Future Front Texas for a local entrepreneur and artist market pop-up on the Meredith Heritage Tree Deck at Waterloo Park on March 10th from 2-5 p.m. Plus, get a first look at Austin’s newest mural produced by Texas Artist Ruben Esquivel and the team at East End Eclectic.
The Audible Sound Experience
The Audible Sound Experience will offer an interactive, over-the-top, carnival-inspired experience with a larger-than-life ferris wheel, carnival games, classic concessions, and more. Audible will also be hosting an After Dark Party in partnership with House of Yes featuring an exclusive live performance.

The Seduction of the Honey Bee Presented by Mānuka Health
Grab a craft cocktail and experience the world the way the bee sees—in the ultraviolet spectrum. This SXSW weekend, beauty and wellness brand Mānuka Health presents The Seduction of the Honeybee, a photo exhibition and craft cocktail experience featuring images by National Geographic photographer Craig P. Burrows that display flowers in ultraviolet light as they are intended to be seen—by their pollinators, the honeybee.

Out By South East
Meanwhile Brewing Co., the South Austin brewery known for its award-winning beer and lively atmosphere, will be hosting Out by South East from March 12th–17th.
Immerse yourself in six days filled with live music on Meanwhile’s concert stage. Attendees can enjoy Meanwhile’s fully equipped, oak tree-shaded land complete with five food trucks (Side Eye Pie, Distant Relatives, Pueblo Viejo, Songbird, and Bésame), a coffee bar, taproom and brewhouse, newly renovated cedar playscape, and soccer pitch.

25th Annual South by San José
This beloved event will return for the 25th year to the Hotel San José and Jo’s Coffee parking lot with live music, local vendors, and good times. The gates open at noon each day. It is always and forever free; no wristbands or RSVPs required. They’ll wrap things up Sunday, March 17th at Jo’s Coffee on South Congress with Sinner’s Brunch on the back deck with Jo’s House Band.

SPIN Magazine Presents: Sunny Day Real Estate’s ‘Diary’ 30th Anniversary Austin Tour Stop
