Happy Summer Solstice! It’s the longest day of the year, so make it count. I thought an outdoor activity with man’s best friend would be a great way to take advantage of all that sunshine.
This is actually one of my favorite dog parks in Austin (I feel like I’ve been to them all!) I love that it’s completely fenced in, so if you’re not sure how your dog may handle a park, it’s a good place to start. They also have a special area for small dogs in case you’re not sure if your dog plays well with others.
There is plenty of room to fetch and the park is nicely shaded with chairs for you to sit in while your pup is playing. They also have plenty of water.
They don’t have any pools or creeks for the dogs to swim in, but for me I enjoy the break from my dog swimming for hours on end. It’s nice to just have a place where he can run nonstop and play with other dogs.
