Trivia Night At The Brass Tap

Test your knowledge and compete against your friends and other patrons for some super awesome prizes at Brass Tap’s Tuesday Night Trivia. This is a free event, therefore registration does not guarantee seating or access to the venue. Seating is first come, first served. Trivia starts at 8 p.m.

Last Stand Trivia Night

Fill your Tuesday nights with good brews, food, and fierce competition! Last Stand Brewery has rolled out their new trivia nights every Tuesday starting at 7 p.m. at their SoCo location. Trivia night will be anywhere from 69 – 90 minutes long! Prizes will be awarded to the winners. No reservations required.

Outdoor All Night Happy Hour At Rosewood

Every Thursday at Rosewood, enjoy all-night happy hour, featuring $3 off select cocktails and wine, $2 off draft beer, and $2 off select snacks.

Art + Music Night At The Cathedral

Art + Music Nights at The Cathedral are a safe haven for the community to listen to live music, sip margaritas, and shop local art from atxGALS. Socially distant private seatings are by reservation only for groups of up to six people per table or lounge.

Poolside Yoga At Austin Proper

Revitalize your mind, body, and soul with Liz Davis and Swift Fit Events poolside at Austin Proper Hotel. Her intuitive 60-minute classes are designed to bring students back to their center—guiding them to a deeper level of physical and emotional awareness. The practice is intended for participants of all levels. Classes start at 10 a.m. and are $25.

New Braunfels Farmers Market

The emphasis of the New Braunfels Farmers Market is to improve access to local, healthy, affordable food that supports a food-secure community and local farmers, ranchers, and growers. It takes place every Saturday from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at 186 S. Castell Ave., 78130.


February 4th

Texas Winter Night Drive-In Series Kick Off

Texas Winter Nights Drive-In Series is a stage, lights, audio, and video production showcase of top artists performing live music for multiple genres. The series taking place  February 4th – 6th and February 11th – 14th will feature a lineup of Jim Suhler, Jackson Taylor, Del Castillo, Mike Zito and His Big Blues Band, The Reverend Horton Heat, The Band of Heathens, Neal McCoy, and more. Local food vendors will be available, and the drive-in takes place at Carson Creek Ranch.

Roger Clyne Duo At Antone’s 

If rock and roll, thought-provoking lyrics, and tequila strike a chord with you, check our Roger Clyne Duo at Anotne’s on February 4th. They’ll be putting two shows at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Due to the intimacy of the show, Antone’s ask that you arrive on time. Table reservations will be relinquished 45 minutes after the show’s advertised start time.


February 5th

Meals On Wheels Volunteer Opportunity

Give back with Meals On Wheels while maintaining safety protocols. Meal deliveries happen 9 a.m. through noon and volunteers are given a quick training before meal pick-up begins. Pre-registration is required. Limited volunteer spots available.

Bummertown With The Lewd Dudes And Forever Miles At Far Out Lounge

If “upbeat, catchy melodies laced with harmonies and self-doubt” sounds like your cup of tea, head to Far Out on February 5th for a night of fun performances. Far Out’s backyard provides lots of room for distancing, and guests are encouraged to remain at their table unless using the restroom or ordering at the outdoor bar. There’s a $10 cover, and doors are at 7 p.m.


February 6th

Puppy Bowl With Austin Humane Society And Yard Bar

The Austin Humane Society’s beloved Puppy Bowl is going virtual in 2021! Fans will be able to enjoy all the fun from the comfort of their own homes, with opportunities to participate in virtual trivia and VIP perks. The funds raised by Puppy Bowl will help AHS care for countless puppies in the coming year. Throughout the event, you’ll meet some of their  available pups and learn more about how to adopt. The celebration will continue that afternoon at Yard Bar, where your pup can participate in a special photo booth (reservations required) to benefit the animals!

LGBTQ Resume Basics 

As an LGBTQ job-seeker, you may have specific questions about your resume, and the Center For LGBTQ Economic Advancement & Research is here to help with their CLEAR Job Talk about LGBTQ Resume Basics. There are no one-size-fits-all answers to these questions, but they have a few ideas to share that may help you choose the best options for you in writing your resume. Come learn about resume writing do’s and don’ts from career coach Kyle Inselman. Virtual attendance is free but there is a $10 suggested donation.

Blunn Creek Work Day

The Blunn Creek Partnership is working on ecological restoration of the 38-acre Blunn Creek Nature Preserve. Volunteers are welcome to join one of the monthly workdays on the 1st Saturday of every month. Workdays will consist of cutting ligustrum and stacking it in a brush pile for chipping. Parking is available along 1200 St Edwards Dr. Meet promptly at 8:30 a.m. as it is a short hike to the working location.

Doc’s Drag-In Theatre

One of our favorite drive-in theaters, Doc’s Drive-In, is hosting a drive-in drag show in support of Nadine Hughes, who is in ICU. There will be 15 performers prior to the movie and all tips to the Queens will go to support her. A screening of The Wizard Of Oz will take place immediately after the show. Doors are at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m.

Cause For Paws Tattoopalooza With Arthouse Tattoo And APA!

ArtHouse Tattoo Austin announces its 19th Cause for Paws Tattoopalooza event in partnership with Austin Pets Alive! Come get inked for a cause, and help spread some furry love throughout the Austin community. All profits from the event will be donated directly to Austin Pet’s Alive!

Make And Take: A Cheese And Charcuterie Board By Central Market

Central Market’s experts will provide insight into the cheeses, salumi, and tasty accompaniments while showing you how to create a spectacular presentation during this Make And Take Charcuterie class. You will have a chance to follow their lead or go rouge by creating your own edible masterpiece with the ingredients provided. In either case, you’ll create an Instagram-worthy board to enjoy during the big game this afternoon and take your edible work of art with you at the end. It’s $65 a person and starts at 11 a.m.

Brush Lettering – Valentine’s Edition With Creative Box Studios

In this Brush Lettering Class, calligrapher Steph Ivelisse covers the tools and techniques you need to get started brush lettering so you can make your own gorgeous valentines. Steph will teach you how to hold your brush, basic strokes, alphabet writing and different styles of lettering. The class is $55 and comes with all the necessary supplies.


February 8th

Antonelli’s Cheese And Mocktail Pairings

During Antonelli’s Cheese ands Mocktail Pairing class, you’ll be talking through and tasting three different featured Seedlip craft mocktails, each paired with two cheeses (for a total of six cheeses). Plus, they’ll throw in some other food pairing bites like jams and fruits. The virtual class is $50 and starts at 6:30 p.m.


February 10th

The Cavalier + Rosewood Vieux Carre Supper Club

The Cavalier ATX and Rosewood will be coming together for a night of delicious food, drinks, and fun on Wednesday, February 10th. The theme is Vieux Carre and the evening will consist of four decedent courses ($50 per person or $75 with drink pairings). Science Under The Stars – COVID-19 In Austin

In this Science Under The Stars presentation, you’ll explore some reasons for one ZIP code to have more COVID-19 infections than another via a live online lecture and Q&A with the speaker. Science Under the Stars is a free public outreach lecture series and they encourage you to participate outdoors under the stars in your backyard!


February 12th

Ultimate Galentine’s Drive-In Event 

The Ultimate Drive-In is hosting an Ultimate Valentine’s Date Night Drive-In Weekend, starting with Galentine’s Day! Black History Month Poetry Night

Galentine’s HIIT It Or Quit It Livestream

The more you sweat the less tears you’ll have to cry, so do yourself a favor and get with the gals this Valentine’s weekend for a high-intensity workout from Jennie Bender. Her HIIT It or Quit It series gives you the opportunity to engage with Jennie on the horrors of dating while sweating it out. Join the class virtually from Swift Fit Event’s Facebook or Instagram. William Chris Vineyards: Virtual Wine And Chocolate Tasting

William Chris Vineyards and Lost Draw Cellars are teaming up together for their Virtual Wine And Chocolate Tasting to give participants an at home tasting experience on February 13th. William Chris will send participants four bottles of wine and include a six-pack of locally crafted hand selected chocolates from Wiseman House Chocolates, to pair with each wine. Paint A Frida Kahlo With Creative Box Studios

Learn how to paint a Frida Kahlo portrait using acrylic with artist Anna Swanson! Anna will teach you how to draw a face with proper proportions, sketch hairstyles and florals, and choose colors before you paint, layer hues, and add a background to the final piece. Intro Into Fiction: A 10-Week Class

Intro Into Fiction is a 10-week creative writing course led by Natalie Grigson for writers anywhere, of any experience level that takes place Monday nights from 7 – 9:30. p.m. February 15th – April 19th. You’ll learn how to become an expert at writing a compelling plot for a story, create rich, developed characters, backstory, and dialogue, and master the art of description, details, and showing.

Hotel Vegas is back with live trivia! Jugglefest Pandemic Public Show

Texas Juggling Society, in place of their 28th annual Austin Jugglefest, will be streaming a Pandemic Public Show including international circus artists from New Zealand, Australia, Italy, Argentina and the USA. The show will happen on Feb 27th at 7:30 p.m. Stream the show and find more about the artists here.


February 28th

Dimension Gallery: Polarity

Today is the last day to catch Polarity at Dimension Gallery. This installation by Colin McIntyre balances subtle extremes of light and sound. Polarity features a constructed setting that’s a rhomboid chamber of red on red. Into this incarnadine vault the sculptor has engineered neon light and sound that plays through cymatic devices to oscillate fluids at the frequency of a specific tone.
