Beginner’s Succulent Arrangement & Planting Class
At Succulent Native, they believe that plants are for everyone. Come as you are and get rooted with them! In this workshop, you’ll learn about succulent and cactus arrangements and care. Each attendee will create their own small plant arrangement with fun toppings including cholla wood, moss, and rocks. Q&A welcome at the end of every class!

Fundraiser for Planned Parenthood at Garbo’s
As a woman-owned business, Garbo’s Fresh Maine Lobster was especially dismayed by the recent Supreme Court decision to roll back women’s rights in overturning Roe v. Wade. In support of women’s reproductive healthcare, Garbo’s will be opening on Monday, July 11th (although the venue is normally closed Mondays) to host a fundraiser for Planned Parenthood at the restaurant’s North Austin brick and mortar location: 12709 N. Mopac Expressway, Austin, Texas 78727. This event will be staffed by the owners and volunteers with 100% of proceeds going to Planned Parenthood.

Short Film Night in Pease Park
Relax on the Great Lawn in Pease Park for a screening of three short films by local Austin filmmakers! They will be screening Act Of God, Directed by Spencer Cook (SXSW 2022 Audience Award Winner), Birds, Directed by Katherine Propper (SXSW 2022 Special Jury Prize for Vision), and More Than I Remember, Directed by Amy Bench (Best Animated Short at the Tribeca Film Festival).
