Every Tuesday at 7:30pm, Alamo Drafthouse and Cheesecake Comedy will be bringing free stand up comedy to the South Lamar area. Martin Henn and Andre Ricks will be hosting with a new lineup every week.

Buzzkill at The Buzz Mill

Buzzkill at The Buzz Mill is a free weekly stand-up comedy show that you don’t want to miss! Join charming hosts Carlton Wilcoxson (Moontower Comedy Festival, host of Stoned vs. Drunk vs. Sober) and Angelina Martin (nominated for Best Stand-Up Comic in The Austin Chronicle’s Best of Austin Awards) every Wednesday at 9pm on the patio of Austin’s premier lumberjack themed bar to catch a hilarious mix of emerging local talents and established comedy headliners.

Movie Night at Moxy

Girls Girls Girls!

The Girls are back improvising a raucous Broadway-style musical based on your suggestion. Laugh out loud alongside the two-time Austin Chronicle nominated funniest comedy troupe in town! Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door.

Rowan x Neighborhood Goods Dog Happy Hour

Beginner’s Succulent Arrangement & Planting Class

At Succulent Native, they believe that plants are for everyone. Come as you are and get rooted with them! In this workshop, you’ll learn about succulent and cactus arrangements and care. Each attendee will create their own small plant arrangement with fun toppings including cholla wood, moss, and rocks. Q&A welcome at the end of every class!

July 11th

Fundraiser for Planned Parenthood at Garbo’s

As a woman-owned business, Garbo’s Fresh Maine Lobster was especially dismayed by the recent Supreme Court decision to roll back women’s rights in overturning Roe v. Wade. In support of women’s reproductive healthcare, Garbo’s will be opening on Monday, July 11th (although the venue is normally closed Mondays) to host a fundraiser for Planned Parenthood at the restaurant’s North Austin brick and mortar location: 12709 N. Mopac Expressway, Austin, Texas 78727. This event will be staffed by the owners and volunteers with 100% of proceeds going to Planned Parenthood.

Full Moon Gong Concert and Live Music 

Join Tej and Ray for a Full Moon Celebration: The Moon of Victory – an evening of live music, mindful meditation, and a gong sound healing. This Summer celebration is perfectly designed to channel your energy toward victory. They will feature Ray’s original poetry and music. Plus, Tej will offer the Vedic Astrology forecast and lead you through mantra meditation. This event is formulated for you to experience and be open to the victorious energy that will arrive with this full moon.

Rowing Dock’s Full Moon Paddle

Join Rowing Dock for a fun-filled night of moon gazing on Lady Bird Lake, with the downtown skyline as your backdrop. Rowing Dock will outfit each vessel with a boating light and provide light lanyards, but feel free to come decked out in glow in the dark gear to make the experience even more radiant!

Bomb & Get Bombed: A Stand Up Comedy Show

Bomb and Get Bombed is a stand up comedy show hosted by Jimmy Clifford. It includes some of the best local comedians in Austin. Unlike most comedy shows, having a bad set has consequences. Every time a performer’s joke falls flat they have to take a drink on stage. So the harder you bomb, the more you get BOMBED. You’re not gonna wanna miss this one! Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Werq The World Tour 2022

The Official RuPaul’s Drag Race World Tour returns with an all-new production for 2022! An experiment gone wrong has sent the audience spiraling through time with no way of returning to the present. Join Kameron Michaels, Rose, Vanessa Vanjie, Yvie Oddly and all finalists from the upcoming 14th Season on a journey through iconic periods of history in hopes of finding your way back to 2022.

July 20th

Short Film Night in Pease Park

Relax on the Great Lawn in Pease Park for a screening of three short films by local Austin filmmakers! They will be screening Act Of God, Directed by Spencer Cook (SXSW 2022 Audience Award Winner), Birds, Directed by Katherine Propper (SXSW 2022 Special Jury Prize for Vision), and More Than I Remember, Directed by Amy Bench (Best Animated Short at the Tribeca Film Festival). Bring a blanket and snack and settle on the lawn by sunset. The films will begin around 9pm when the sun goes down.

Ugly Faces / Hot Sets

Ugly Faces Hot Sets is a stand up comedy showcase with some of Austin’s funniest (looking) comedians. Come enjoy a night of dirty jokes, over the top personalities, and inappropriate yet hilarious behavior. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door.

Main Course Stand Up Comedy

The Main Course features a secret lineup of comedians at the iconic Vulcan Gas Company. Their comedians have been featured on Netflix, HBO, Comedy Central, and Showtime. This is gonna be a fun one. Tickets are $25 online or $30 at the door.

Float Fest 2022

Hartman Foundation Concerts In The Park: String Quartet
