Austin’s longest running free concert series returns! Pan Am Hillside Concert Series 2024 has been a tradition for many families in East Austin and this year is the 65th year. Grab a blanket to lounge on and enjoy being a part of Austin history.

YTX Summer Series is more than just sunset yoga (which sounds lovely enough). Besides yoga, they’ll have live music, vendors, raffles, and cold plunges.

Starting at noon every Sunday, the new Swim Club Austin will host a Sunday Splashdown Pool Party. Cool down poolside with drink specials and some of their favorite vinyl DJs.

Uncommon Ramen ft. Chef Colter Peck at Uchiba
Uncommon Ramen is a monthly series featuring innovative ramen collaborations with renowned chefs from around the country. July 1st Uchiba is bringing in guest Chef Colter Peck from Elementary to share a play on his Elementary dish, Ramen Rissotto. They’ll even have a vegetarian version of this twist of ramen!

COPA America 2024: Cosa Rica vs. Paraguay
Copa America, the oldest and one of the most prestigious international soccer tournaments in the world, will host two matches at Austin’s Q2 stadium! The second game happening on the 2nd with Venezuela vs Jamaica. This is a big deal for our beloved stadium and a great opportunity to see such a important game in our hometown!
Bill’s Oysters Guest Chef Series
Bill’s Oysters is opening their kitchen to a great lineup of guest chefs this July. We are particularly excited to see what Philip Speer, of Comedor, cooks up. A portion of proceeds will benefit Partnerships for Children as well.

Get yourself in the 4th of July spirit at Central Machine Works Brewery’s showing of Independence Day. Housed in a repurposed airplane hangar and including an expansive beer garden, its a pretty cool place to catch a flick.

¡ESTAR GUARS! Comedy Fiesta
¡Estar Guars! re-creates the classic sci-fi rebellion, Star Wars, as a modern-day Resistencia, complete with Galactic Walls, space chanclas, migrant moisture farmers, fearless princesas, mystical abuelas and the targeting of Sanctuary Planetas by an evil empire determined to MAGGA (Make A Galaxy Great Again).
July 6th
Open Canopy
Open Canopy is the first Saturday of every month. You’ll find a diverse selection of art from over 72 artists, live music, local vendor pop up, and food by the Traveling Empanada.
South Austin Block Party
Manchaca Sports Bar, Lulu’s, Reset Arcade Bar, Bodhi’s are teaming up for a Block Party. They’ll have food, drinks, DJ, live music, vendors, fireworks, and more. Time to go bar hopping!
July 7th
3rd Annual Ski Shores Fourth of July Weekend
Ski Shores is celebrating turning 70 this year and they aren’t holding back on the celebrations. In collaboration with Manana Surf and KUTX they’ll be throwing their 3rd Annual Fourth of July Weekend Party. Expect multiple bands, surf lounge, pop up photo booth, 18-foot slide, Cowboy Pools, and so much more. Oh, Rivian will even will even be shuttling everyone around City Park Road!

Reality and Perception in the Brain
The Austin Salon Presents: Reality and Perception in the Brain, a free evening of learning, drinks, and discussion. In this month’s Salon, neuroscientist Sanjeev Namjoshi will teach about a theory called predictive processing that’s transforming the way we think about the brain and how it makes sense of reality. Break out your philosopher’s pipe, folks, because its getting deep.
July 11th
Emmer & Rye Breaking Bread
Emmer & Rye will be hosting guests chefs for their Breaking Bread series, this week featuring Peter Klein from Holiday. Emmer & Rye’s team will be making a different sourdough bread service with butter and various accoutrements in ode to each chef. While each guest chef will offer a few special dishes available for one night only.

Art Dinner
In celebration of their third birthday, Future Front will be celebrating with a three night Art Dinner event. Expect a delicious multi course South Indian-Texan menu from Chef Deepa Shridhar. Texas root masala and grilled cheese kolaches, anyone? You’ll also have the opportunity to tour their gallery and workshop while you’re enjoying the evening.

Moonlight Movie Night

Between a car mechanic and bait shop lives Austin’s newest furniture speakeasy. So So Spiffy, normally open by appointment only, will open their doors to the public for a pop up sale. They promise discounted furniture, art, and accessories!

Taco Fest
Sabine Street Taco Fest will have 15 bands, 15+ vendors, food and drinks all day on the 13th. Tucked between Taquero Vaquero and Marlow plus only $10, this is the perfect excuse to eat way too many tacos.

LUSH
atxGALS presents their 6th Annual Summer Pop-Up Art Show: LUSH. With exhibits by 9 local women in a gallery hosting art by 30 local artists, there will be no lack of beauty in the space! Saturday evening they will hold an opening reception while Sunday will be a more casual daytime show to enjoy all of the art they have to offer.

Hot Summer Nights is an FREE annual three-day district-wide music and arts festival held in the Red River Cultural District located in the heart of downtown Austin. With over 100 local musicians performing at different venues throughout the area, there won’t be a dull moment the whole weekend.

Texas Heat Wave 2024

Waterloo Media, 107.1 La Zeta, and Latino 93.3 are excited to present Mi Música Fest at the Round Rock Amp.
