TLC $6 Monday Happy Hour

Every Monday at TLC Austin from 3–6 p.m., they have a special $6 happy hour menu. Pick from bites like 1/2 pound mussels, 1/2 dozen Gulf oysters, hush puppies, and fried pickles. Their signature spicy margs and house red and white wine are also priced at $6.

Trivia Night At Last Stand Brewery

Tuesdays at 7 p.m. head to Last Stand Brewery’s South Congress Taproom for Trivia Tuesday! It runs anywhere from 60–90 minutes and prizes are awarded to the winners!

Tiki Tuesdays At Central Machine Works 

From 8 p.m. through midnight enjoy tiki inspired drinks, and exotic records spun by Tropicana Joe. Plus their reverse happy hour starts at 9 with half price pitchers, $5 burgers, and $2 off pizza.

Comedy Night At Baker Street Pub

Tues­day Nights are Com­e­dy Night at Bak­er Street Pub starting at 8 p.m. Come on down every Tues­day for a night of free laughs as they bring in some of the best come­di­ans around for the Sher­lock Show­case.

Public Picnic At Barr Mansion

Every Wednesday from. 5 – 8 p.m. enjoy Barr Mansion’s spacious grounds with pizza, live music, a bar, s’mores, and more during their Public Picnic days. There are special upgrades to add on if you wish like VIP lounging areas, sparklers, flowers, and more. Reservations are required.

Barks And Brews

Lone Star Court’s Southern-inspired eatery, The Water Trough, will offer craft beer specials and doggy treats every Thursday from 5-7 p.m. throughout March and April. As an added bonus, 20% of all Barks & Brews sales will be donated to Austin Humane Society, the largest no-kill, non-profit pet and adoption center in the city.

Saturday mornings revitalize your mind, body, and soul poolside at Austin Proper with Liz Davis. Her intuitive 60-minute practice is designed to bring students back to their center— guiding them to a deeper level of physical and emotional awareness. The class is $25 and starts at 10 a.m.

Virtual Wine Tasting With House Wine

Crawfish, Blues, And Brews With The Larry Harris Band At Oakwood BBQ 

Every Sunday at noon, Oakwood BBQ hosts a crawfish boil with live music from The Larry Harris band from 1–4 p.m. The boil is dog friendly.

Yoga At Last Stand

Join Last Stand for Sunday vibes and an all-levels yoga class in the spacious, open warehouse connected to the Last Stand taproom on SoCo! Hang out after class with an included beverage all while supporting a local nonprofit. Class is $15, includes a free beer, soda, or coffee and starts at at 10 a.m.


March 8th

Austin Diversity Virtual Career Fair

Each year, DiversityX Job Fairs help thousands of Job Seekers find their next career move. Past employers in Austin have included Apple, JPMorgan Chase, and Amazon. You will meet and interview with employers via text from your desktop or laptop browser. The virtual career fair runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.


March 9th

Shakey Graves Livestream

To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Shakey Graves Day and Roll The Bones, Shakey Graves presents three livestream shows beginning Tuesday, February 9th. Join us for music, conversation, and a special project announcement. Tickets are $20.

Alle Donne! Women’s Day Wine Class

Celebrate National Women’s Day with a wine tasting class led by Charity Sadoy, Il Brutto’s general manager and WSET level 3 sommelier. She’ll walk you through some of her favorite bottles from the fast-growing sector of women-led wineries + producers, while sharing her knowledge on tasting and pairing techniques. Tickets are $65/person, and include cheese, bites, wine tasting + education, and 20% off your favorite bottles to take home.


March 10th

The Classics At Doc’s Drive-In

Doc’s lineup is stacked with some classics starting with Indiana Jones Raiders Of The Lost Ark at 7 p.m. followed by Jurassic Park at 7:30 and ending with Pulp Fiction at 9:45. Car slots start at $12.


March 11th

Movie Theater Thursday: Dazed And Confused At Empire Control Room

Empire is hosting socially distanced Movie Nights in their outdoor space featuring some of their favorite films, tonight being Dazed And Confused. The First 30 people in the door will receive a complimentary Grey Goose cocktail. RSVP for free admission.

The Bullock Museum Workshop: Prevent Trafficking And Exploitation

In conjunction with the exhibit Not Alone: Working Together in the Fight Against Human Trafficking join The Bullock Museum for a workshop with representatives from Love146, an organization dedicated to ending child trafficking and exploitation. The workshop will provide an introduction on the reality of human trafficking and give attendees some tools they can take with them to safeguard their communities. Takes place online from 6–7 p.m. with a Q&A following until 7:30. The workshop is free to the public.


March 12th

Bill & Ted Face The Music – Community Drive-In With P. Terry’s

Come join the Community Cinema in a safe, socially distanced setting at Community First! Village. They’ll be partnering with P. Terry’s to provide combo meals for Drive-In guests. Combo meals include your choice of burger with fries and will only be available for pre-order. Their concessions stand with popcorn, candy, and drinks will be open before the movie begins

Ground Floor At Hotel Vegas

Ground Floor is back at Hotel Vegas on March 12th! One of Austin’s longest running stand up comedy showcases, Ground Floor is dedicated to bringing only the best in Austin comedy. Hosted by Taylor Dowdy in the patio of Hotel Vegas and the Volstead, this show is a great free way to spend your Friday night!


March 13th

Texas Strong Relief Concert

Dreamland Dripping Springs is partnering with musicians and organizations to put on the event of a lifetime: The Texas Strong Relief Concert! On Saturday, March 13th, Dreamland will host the outdoor event from 3–10 p.m. on our turf lawn with Bruce Robison and Kelly Willis headlining. With this event, Dreamland is giving back to the community of Texas to aid the recovery from the winter weather.

Kinda Tropical Market

Taking place from noon to 6 p.m., Kinda Tropical is hosting their Spring Market featuring tons of local vendors selling clothing, jewelry, and accessories! They’re also serving brunch until 4 p.m.

Hope For Spring Opening Reception

Celebrate the beginning days of Spring at the Neill-Cochran House Museum during their opening reception for their newest exhibit- Hope For Spring. Neill-Cochran House Museum is displaying a collection of local art inspired by the bluebonnet. The reception is free and starts at 5:30 p.m.

Sunday Sound Bath Series At Austin Proper

Inspired by Austin Proper’s Reset Retreat weekend programming coming up April 16th – 18th, Meg Sylvester will lead a healing session with soothing sounds of singing crystal bowls and chimes. Immerse yourself this spring’s series of classes in a serene candlelit setting that will leave you with a feeling of purpose and joy. Virtual Perfect Paring: A Chocolate And Cheese Tasting

There are few things that inspire happiness quite like cheese and chocolate, and Antonelli’s is bringing you the best of both with their guided virtual tasting. Each plate includes seven cheeses and seven chocolates. The tasting is $50, and contactless delivery and curbside pickup are available.

March 18th

Springfest At The Cathedral 

atxGALS​ and ​The Cathedral​ are celebrating local art and music with Springfest, a three-day, intimate and COVID-conscious event during the week of SXSW. The event will ​provide a safe way for Austinites to celebrate and support local women owned businesses, women artists and musicians. Thursday, March 18th, enjoy performances by Christelle Bofale and Jordan Young from 7–10 p.m.

Kash’d Out And Tropidelic With Bonzai At Empire

Head to Empire at at 7:00 p.m. to catch Kash’d Out and Tropidelic. Tables start at $60. By purchasing a table at one of Empire’s events, you are not only getting access to a great live show, you are providing work for musicians, bar staff, venue staff, and the community.

Laidback Luke At Summit Rooftop Lounge

Springfest At The Cathedral

Last Stand Brewing Crawfish Boil

Head to Last Stand Brewing’s South Congress Taproom for the next two weekends for their very own crawfish boil! Taking place March 20th, 21st, 27th, and 28th, Last Stand’s boil will feature all the crawfish boil classics! It kicks off at 3 p.m. and continues ’til they run out. If you want to make sure you get a pile, preordering is encouraged.

AG Rugby Vs. Utah Warriors

AG Rugby is kicking off their 2021 Season with post-match entertainment featuring Grammy Award-winning artist DJ Paul Oakenfold! Come out and join AG as they take on the Utah Warriors at Bold Stadium at Circuit of the Americas. Pre-match plaza activities will begin at 5:00pm, with kickoff following at 7:00 p.m. Tickets go on sale here.

Springfest At The Cathedral

For the last day of The Cathedral’s Springfest enjoy a daytime panel of local women on side hustles, balance and community from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. Later in the evening catch performances from Keelan Donovan and Nané from 5–7 p.m. followed by the finale performances from Drew Davis and Tameca Jones from 8–10 p.m.

Cody Johnson At The Dell Diamond

The Round Rock Express, in partnership with 98.1 KVET and KASE 101, are excited to announce that country music artist Cody Johnson will headline a live concert at Dell Diamond on Saturday, March 20. Gates are scheduled to open at 6:00 p.m. with music beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Free HIIT Bootcamp At The Arboretum

ABC Kite Fest

In accordance with local health and safety guidelines, the 2021 ABC Kite Fest will return March 27 and 28 as a city-wide celebration of Austin’s parks in partnership with Austin Parks Foundation at Zilker Park. All participating kite fliers are encouraged to share photos and videos of their kite-flying experience with the ABC Kite Fest by tagging the festival on Instagram and Facebook.

Adam Ray: Live In Austin At Vulcan
