Join Swift Fit Events every Wednesday at Republic Square Park for their Free Fitness class! This mostly bodyweight bootcamp is unlike any workout class you’ve ever experienced before. Danielle (aka Coach Gert) uses her love for bodyweight movements, speed, agility and primal play to bring you a one-of-a-kind experience that focuses on building strength, power, speed, and mobility all while having the time of your life. Come prepared to sweat and ready to leave with a new sense of empowerment! Thursday Night Football Watch Party at Revelry on the Boulevard

Head to Revelry on the Boulevard on Thursday nights for $1 wings and $2 Tecates. This special is built with football in mind. Come take advantage of every Thursday night football game. There’s a 10 wing minimum order and dine-in only. Screens all over inside and out. Onsite parking is available.


October 6th

Dessert in the Desert

Dessert in the Desert is THE pre-party to the first ACL festival weekend hosted by Museum of Ice Crea and& Desert Door Distillery 5-8 p.m. Whether you have tickets to Austin City Limits this year or not, start the city’s legendary festival weekend with a Western kick off. They’ll have FREE bandanas, treats, glitter, temporary tattoos, drink floaties, Funky Mello s’mores, and Topo Chico as well as ticket raffles and live music on the patio. Enjoy $5 Desert Door cocktails at the bar when you show your ACL wristband or ticket! Join this event for free, but more sweet surprises begin inside with their ticketed Museum I-Scream Halloween experience.

Oktoberfest At Infamous Brewing 

Grab your Lederhosen for a full day and evening of fun festivities during Infamous Brewing’s Oktoberfest! Expect firkin tappings, 20oz mugs, Stein hoisting competition, keg toss, German food, and live music with The Off the Grid Band. The fun starts at 3 p.m.


October 8th

E-Bike Rodeo

Come take an electric bike for a spin at the “E-Bike Rodeo” at the state Capitol. Experts there will teach event attendees the skills and precautions needed to ride a e-bike safely and tell them about an Austin Energy rebate program designed to help customers purchase an e-bike.


October 9th

“Cute AF” Handcrafted and Vintage Market

Get your shop on at the cutest rainbow house in Austin. Eastside Pop Up will be taking over the parking lot at Cute Nail Studio for the “Cute AF” Handcrafted and Vintage Market with an array of fabulous local artisans, makers, and vintage collectors.


October 10th

Mental Health Awareness Day at Rowing Dock

You’re invited to Rowing Dock for Mental Health Awareness Day, a day of FREE outdoor programming designed to give you the opportunity to connect, reflect, and reset. This event is brought to you by Rowing Dock, Recalibrate, ATX Yoga Girl, and Loventure Therapy. Daytime programming will include an hour of free paddling. Evening programming will begin with an expert lakeside chat about modern mental health featuring Alyssa Cornett, and hosted by Recalibrate. They’ll end the evening with a guided sunset sound bath and meditation, led by Cynthia Bernard, founder of ATX Yoga Girl. Local vendors will provide refreshments and treats will be provided. All activities are free to all, but advanced registration is required.


October 11th

Spanish Cheeses Paired with Spanish Wines

Check out Central Market on North Lamar for a guided tasting of three Spanish cheeses paired with three complementary Spanish wines. You’ll discover what a difference the milk makes, a little about how both the cheeses and the wines are created, and pick up tips on pairing cheese with wine.


October 12th

Jefferson’s Bourbon Dinner and Tasting

Stop by Ah Sing Den for a dinner and tasting hosted by Jefferson’s Bourbon. Tickets are $90 a person and include a 4-course gourmet meal paired with four Jefferson’s Bourbon cocktails. With only 25 seats available, it will sell out fast.


October 13th

Meanwhile Brewing’s Two Year Anniversary Party

Meanwhile Brewing is turning two, and you’re invited to the party! They’re celebrating with four whole days of free live music, limited beer releases, special menu items from their food trucks, and activities.


October 14th

Arte Agave Tequila and Mezcal Festival ATX

Arte Agave is a unique celebration of fine agave spirits, arts, and entertainment. Learn all about the art of making agave inspired cocktails while sipping on margaritas, palomas, and Ranch Water cocktails. There will also be food trucks on site with fresh Latin fare available for purchase.


October 15th

TLC Oyster Fest

Head to the TLC Oyster Fest for all things oysters! Enjoy East Coast and Gulf oyster varieties that are raw, grilled, and fried. The Roosevelt Room’s Master Class Series – Gin & Juniper Spirits

The Roosevelt Room is hosting a a cocktail class about all things gin and juniper spirits. Attendees will get to taste ten spirits, while learning about the fundamentals of tasting, discussing the predominant flavor characteristics of each style, and what to look for in juniper spirits of superior quality. Attendees must be 21 years of age. Class promptly begins at noon and concludes at 2:30 p.m. Hors d’oeuvres will be served at the beginning of the course. Guests are encouraged to stick around after the course concludes to enjoy their Sunday Happy Hour service at 3 p.m.

Antonelli’s Cheese and Charcuterie Tasting

Antonelli’s is calling all charcuterie lovers for a night of cheese, charcuterie, and sundries!In one of their most popular classes (as in, sells out quickly!), they’ll showcase five different types of cheese (both pasteurized and unpasteurized) – each paired with one of their small batch charcuterie meats.

Big Ass Social Happy Hour #BASHH

BASHH is Austin’s relaxed mixer filled mostly with tech nerds and operations folks that may be introverts but are going to suck it up for a few hours for networking purposes. The ties come off a 6:00 pm, and there are no speakers or panels, no lame pitches, no egos; all are welcomed to relax and have happy hours!

One Love: Stand Up Comedy

One Love Comedy Show brings Texas’ best comedians to the most intimate venue in Austin, The Pershing. Set in a historic remodeled lumber mill, you’ll enjoy an incredible comedy show in a space you won’t be able to wait to tell your friends about. This night features a secret lineup of incredible comedians. Their comedians have been featured on Netflix, Comedy Central, JRE, Showtime, and HBO.

High West Diner and Tasting

October 22nd

Independence Brewing 18th Anniversary 

Independence Brewing Co. is celebrating its 18th anniversary with a state fair-themed party on Saturday, October 22, from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Hosted at its taproom in southeast Austin, Independence Brewing Co. will offer 18 new brews, along with wacky fried foods and carnival games with prizes.

Farm Yoga at Boggy Creek

Get grounded during Swift Fit Event’s Farm Yoga at Boggy Creek. Start the day with a quick class with East Austin Succulents then sink into your mat for an hour session hosted by one of Swift Fit’s wonderful instructors. Afterward, explore Austin’s oldest homestead and shop the delicious produce, eggs, and local goods.

October 24th

Pedicab Homecoming 

The Austin Pedicab community invites you to join them at High Noon for Homecoming, Pedicab style! Inside on the dance floor, DJ Anthony Carter will supply the tasty dance grooves for everyone to get down. Outdoors, they will have the traditional Pedicab Photo booth setup along with some fun games. Pedicab Homecoming is a semi-formal event that will function as a reunion for all the pedicab riders, locals and out of towners.


October 25th

Funk ‘n Sour Fest 

Jester King Brewery & Kitchen its having their annual Funk n’ Sour event on Tuesday, October 25th. This year’s event, held in their Beer Garden with sweeping views of the Texas Hill Country, features Austin’s top local restaurants along with world-class breweries, wineries, cideries, and distilleries. They will have 30 pairings this year, which makes this the largest Funk n’ Sour event to date. Join them on a food & beverage journey you won’t forget!


October 26th

Laugh Laugh Revolution

Laugh Laugh Revolution is a comedy variety show hosted by Derek Kopswa featuring some of the best stand ups Austin has to offer! After each comedian performs their material Derek gets to the bottom of what kind of gamer they are. Whether it’s RPGs, fighting games, flash games, or platformers, Derek is ready to dive into it all!


October 27th

EASTside Magazine’s 6th Annual Inspirational Women’s Event

During the EASTside Magazine’s 6th Annual Inspirational Women’s Event guests can enjoy a live DJ set from local award-winning producer and musician, DJ Cassandra; sip on complimentary drinks from HYE Rum , Austin Cocktails, wine from BOXT, Austin Beerworks, and Mayawell; and snack on light bites from Oseyo, East Side King, and Bao’d Up; all while mixing and mingling with inspiring Austin women inside The Cathedral, a beautiful 1930’s refurbished church in East Austin. Guests will also have the opportunity to view and purchase art by atxGALS, a local women artist collective.

Tequila, Tarot, & Tacos Halloween Party

October 29th

Bob’s Burgers Halloween Pop-Up at Huckleberry’s

This Halloween, the Bob’s Burgers Pop-Up returns with the “Grand Re-opening” Halloween event at Huckleberry with partners Still Austin Whiskey Co. The event will include a special menu with themed dishes from Bob’s Burgers at Huckleberry and Still Austin Whiskey Co. will host a “Jimmy Pesto’s Cocktail” pop-up onsite. The all-day event will feature a DJ, a costume contest where folks can win a gift basket from Still Whiskey and Huckleberry, temporary tattoos, a photobooth and more!


October 30th

Wine & Swine 2022

During Wine & Swine 2022, guests will enjoy tastings from acclaimed wine, beer, and spirits-makers while listening to incredible live music. At the end of the event, one chef is granted bragging rights for creating the best bite. Attendees also crown the best wine to pair with swine.


October 31st

Halloween At The 13th Floor

Join The 13th Floor for a Funtastic Halloween Party with some great tribute bands- Queen, Blondie and The Misfits! There will also be jams from Dj Sue, a costume contest, and dance off! The show starts at 8 p.m. and doors are at 7 p.m.
