Get grounded at downtown’s Fareground every Tuesday evening during Grounded Fitness powered by Swift Fit Events. Every week they’ll host high-intensity workouts in Fareground’s outdoor plaza space just off of Congress and Cesar Chavez. Classes are free and open to the public with ticket registration.

After 50 years as a sideman, Dallas gospel & funk guitarist Gypsy Mitchell takes center stage at C-Boy’s for four Thursday nights in September. The show starts at 10 p.m. with John Branch playing at midnight.

Kitty and Vibe Presents: A Party for EveryBooty ATX

Zilker Relays

The Zilker Relays is a 10-mile race with teams comprised of 4 runners. Each participant runs a 2.5-mile loop on the course at Zilker Park. The race is followed by the “Best Post-Race Party in Town” with Tacodeli, Real Ale Brewery, and Live Music by Type-A!

The Keep Austin Weird Art Show is a gallery show featuring local Austin artists (and vendors) that keep us weird, and transplant artists that make us weirder. Join them for an evening of beverages, lives music, local vendor pop-ups, and more.

32nd Annual Austin Chronicle Hot Sauce Festival

The 32nd Annual Hot Sauce Festival benefiting the Central Texas Food Bank returns to south Austin’s favorite, The Far Out Lounge and Stage on Sunday, September 11, 2022, 3 p.m. – 9 p.m. Sample hundreds of Central Texas’ hottest salsas, dine on local foods, have a cold beverage, and enjoy live music!

ATX Short Film Showcase

The ATX Short Film Showcase is Austin’s monthly film festival. Every month, they curate 6-7 local short films, followed by a Q&A session with the filmmakers. Whether you’re interested in learning about the filmmaking process, looking to network with fellow Texas filmmakers, or just want a fun night of entertainment, go check them out!

The Sazon Latin Food Festival is back and it’s going to be a great time. Join Otopia Rooftop every other Thursday for Silent Sunsets from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Their DJ has created three different playlists to cater to your music taste, ranging from top hits to songs that make you want to lean back. All you have to do is pick up your headphones, choose a channel, and dance away!
