Head to the Monkey Tree at the Barton Springs Pool Back entrance every Monday for a Sunset Vinyasa Yoga Flow and community to connect to your body and recenter yourself for the week. Bike Night At COTA

The weekly Tuesday event starts at 5:30 p.m. and lets riders cruise COTA’s famed stars and stripes in a stress-free environment without the worry of city traffic while offering fantastic sunset views of the COTA’s signature Observation Deck and Austin skyline. After the ride concludes, cyclists can replenish and recharge with an ice-cold drink, refreshments, and great conversations and camaraderie with fellow riders.

Outdoor Yoga every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. on the rooftop of The Riley Building, in partnership with Black Swan Yoga and Austin Private Yoga. It’s the only all-weather, year-round Outdoor Yoga in Austin!

Beginner’s Succulent Arrangement and Planting Class

In this workshop at Succulent Native, guests will learn about succulents and cactus arrangements and care. Each attendee will create their own small plant arrangement with fun toppings including cholla wood, moss, and rocks. Q&A welcome at the end of every class!

Labor Day Brunch At Wicky’s Walkup

September 7th

Fareground Reopening

Austin’s first food hall, Fareground, is finally reopening after being closed since the beginning of COVID in March 2020. Fareground will feature six eateries and over 120 dish offerings with cuisine inspired by global fare including Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas.

Austin Job Fair

Find a great job in Austin from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. at the Embassy Suites Austin Central located at 5901 North IH-35. This job fair is open to the general public and there is no cost to attend. Taco Fuego Pop-Up At Wicky’s Walkup

NFL At The Cavalier

NFL is back and The Cavalier is pumped for it! Come watch America’s team go up against the GOAT. There will be $5 frozens and $5 burgers during the game. It’s dog friendly and there’s free parking on site. Arrive early for Happy Hour 3–7 p.m.

Texas Fine Wine Sunset Cruise, Dinner and Wine Tasting

Texas Fine Wine will host its annual sunset cruise on Lake Austin and feature wines from Bending Branch Winery, Duchman Family Winery, Pedernales Cellars, and Spicewood Vineyards. Inspired by the life of Britney Spears, a rotating cast of talented performers come together from Austin’s arts and comedy scenes (sketch, stand-up, acro, drag, and more) at Fallout Theater to humorously explore themes of empowerment, fame, mental health, the role of media, and the absurdity of our own participation in pop culture. A portion of ticket sales will go to the Lilith Fund for Reproductive Equity.

VZN Makers Market

VZN is a market celebrating and highlighting Queer artisans and creators throughout Austin, Texas. All are encouraged to apply whether or not you identify as Queer, although this is market is curated to bring Queer artists to the spotlight! Glow Show At Spider House

Glow show is a trippy glow-in-the-dark-themed comedy event created by Joey Z. Standup comedians perform under black lights and after their set riff with Joey Z about their adventures/misadventures with psychedelics. La Cocina Cubana At Central Market N. Lamar

Sundown Soundsets

Join Swift Fit Events during their Sundown Soundset series for rooftop movement and sounds at sunset followed by a dance party overlooking downtown Austin. The evening starts at 7:30 p.m. with meditative moves, followed by a sundown sound bath, then you’ll break out into sets from some of Austin’s favorite DJs.

Texas Piano Legend Robert Ellis At Central Machine Works

Arte Agave Tequila and Mezcal Festival ATX

Arte Agave is a unique celebración of fine agave spirits, arts, and entertainment inspired by the richness of Latin cultureThere will be over 20 Estaciónes de Sabor with more than 100 varieties of Agave spirits to sample.


September 18th

Succulent Native Grand Opening

Austin’s original succulent and houseplant shop, Succulent Native, is opening a second location on South Lamar! They’re hosting a Grand Opening party on September 18th from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 2058 S. Lamar Blvd. Admission is free and the event is open to the public—join them for free drinks and cocktails, snacks, and giveaways!

National Cheeseburger Day

The Epic Rendezvous

From 9 a.m.–2 p.m., Rosen’s is teaming up with Salt & Time Cafe for some Serious Bagel Sandwiches! Austin Museum Day

Austin Museum Day is also the perfect day to celebrate the artists in our community, so the Neill-Cochran House Museum will be hosting their popular Art on the Lawn during Austin Museum Day! Come out and feed your soul (and your walls) with beautiful art from 12 artists!

The Roosevelt Room’s Master Class Series – Whiskies of the World

In this in-depth Whiskies Of The World course, attendees will learn about the humble beginnings of grain spirits, tasting through a flight of ten unique styles of Whisk(e)y while learning about their place of origin, production methods, flavor profiles, and how the category as a whole has evolved over the last seven centuries. Class promptly begins at noon and concludes at 2:30 p.m.. Hors d’oeuvres will be served at the beginning of the course. The Austin Taco Run

City Running Tours and Saucony present a fun and filling East Austin Taco Run. They’ll kick off the run at 7 PM from Arbor Food Park, make the loop around east Austin’s Boggy Creek Greenbelt stop at Nixta Taqueria, and arrive back for a round of Cuanto’s tacos and complimentary ice-cold bevs.

Networking Series – Packed Party

@dallasgirlgang is a community platform and space for women to connect whether for friendship or business.
