There will be an exciting moment in the skies this afternoon over Austin as the U.S. Airforce’s premier air demonstration team, the Thunderbirds, give us a show!

Today’s #AmericaStrong flyover serves as a salute to frontline #COVID responders in the great state of Texas.

As long as the weather holds out, the show is on! From the Statesman:

“The Austin flyover will start at 3:40 p.m. and end at 4:15 p.m. The squadron will first fly over Leander before circling over Georgetown, Round Rock and Pflugerville and then pass over downtown Austin, flying along Interstate 35. It will then circle around to Lakeway and South Austin before returning to fly over I-35 through Buda and Kyle.”

In her previous life, Kristy was an uninspired realtor who was feeling a little bit bored with her day to day. So on January 1, 2010, she made a New Year’s resolution to write about one thing to do each day in her beloved city of Austin, Texas. And thus, 365 Things Austin was born.
