1. 5th Annual Banger’s Oktoberfest

What: Banger’s Sausage House & Beer Garden, home to the city’s widest selection of handmade sausages and craft beer, is celebrating Oktoberfest with special food, beer and live music. Nodding homage to the home country host of Oktoberfest, German beers – some local and some national draughts – will be featured to celebrate beer and sausage.

2. Hey Sugar! Austin Dessert Fest

What: Get ready for Austin’s first dessert festival, Hey Sugar! at Peached Social House! They are packing the joint with drool-worthy sweets from some of Austin’s best and most talented bakers and shops, who will be selling their treats to the masses!

3. Grand Opening of Austin’s New Central Library

What: Austin’s #NewCentralLibrary opens its doors at 710 W. César Chávez St. on Saturday, October 28 at 1 PM. Everyone is welcome. There will be live music and fun for the kids until dusk.  The celebration is free and open to the public.

4. Hocus Pocus at the Community Cinema

What: Mobile Loaves & Fishes invites you to a free movie night at our Community First! Village. Grab chairs and a blanket, bring family and friends, and enjoy this special screening of HOCUS POCUS.

Come as early as 7:00pm to explore Community First! Village, pick your spot, and enjoy your favorite movie snacks. Hot dogs, milkshakes, popcorn, candy and drinks will be available for purchase

5. Top Golf Crush Comes To Circuit of The Americas

What: Racing fans can experience a new kind of competition during the 2017 FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX: Topgolf®Crush. Sports fans, golfers and non-golfers alike can enjoy food, drinks and music – all while crushing golf balls alongside the legendary Turn 1 of Circuit of The Americas (COTA) racetrack into giant target. 

Players will aim for seven giant targets ranging from 50-150 yards away from one of 23 bays. Topgolf’s Toptracer Range technology – not yet available at TopgolfAustin – tracks the flight path of the golf balls, instantly scoring every shot so players can challenge others to competition. Operating daily from 9 a.m. to midnight, Topgolf Crush Grand Prix guests can enjoy food and drinks, as well as various recreation games for those wanting to keep the fun going before or after their tee time. A live DJ will spin every day throughout the weekend.

6. Easy Sunday at Easy Tiger

What: Cider Lovers: Our next Easy Sunday is for you! Get ready to pop open $1 Austin Eastciders cans, snap up tees from Fine Southern Gentlemen, peruse a pop-up by Succulent Native and groove to tunes by DJ Gatsby. We’ll be giving away an Austin Eastciders cooler bag, hat and exclusive VIP tour for 4, as well as swag from all of our other vendors. 7. Free Scoop Night at Lick Honest Ice Cream

What: Celebrate Lick Honest Ice Cream’s six year anniversary! Starting at seven o’clock, all four of our scoop shops in Austin & San Antonio will be giving out one free scoop to every customer who comes in!

8. Free Shakespeare at The Market

9. Spirits of Mexico

What: Spirits of Mexico, SoM is taking over Austin and offering Tequila and Mezcal enthusiasts the chance to interact with makers, brand ambassadors, and SoM competition participants over tastings, and food and beverage pairings.

10. Halloween Sunset Cruise on Lady Bird Lake

What: While most people just grab a spot on the bridge, there’s actually an even better way to watch the bats. We’ve partnered with Capital Cruises to bring you a Halloween Bat Cruise, a party cruise on Town Lake (or Lady Bird Lake as it’s now known). Enjoy great music, food, and cocktails aboard a fabulous boat with air conditioning, bathrooms, and a gorgeous roof deck. We’ll pause near the bridge (and turn the music down) at sunset to watch the bats and tell you a little bit about them!

WHAT: Wurstfest was  voted the number two Oktoberfest in the country by USA Today.  This “10-Day Salute To Sausage” in New Braunfels is one of our favorite festivals of the year.  With sausage, beer, polka and potato pancakes as far as the eye can see, it’s a Bavarian wonderland that’s not to be missed.    

By offering round trip transportation all ten days of the fest again we’re making getting to New Braunfels easier than fitting into last years lederhosen.  Why risk the hour drive when you can take our Wheels to Wurstfest?
