This week our running workout is a circuit challenge. The temperatures in Austin this week are forecasted to be upwards of 100 degrees, so remember to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate, and try to sneak your workout in before it gets too steamy out there.
Workout Challenge: Circuit
  • Warm up: 10-15 minutes of walk/jog or whatever easy pace looks like to you (1-2 miles warm up with more experience)
  • 3 minute run: run at a pace that’s faster than easy pace but capable to sustain
  • Circuit: 20 lunges on each leg
  • 3 minute run: moderate pace
  • Circuit: 20 squats
  • 3 minute run: moderate pace
  • Circuit: 30 crunches each side
  • 3 minute run: moderate pace
  • Circuit: 20 squats
  • 3 minute run: moderate pace
  • Repeat: repeat the circuit twice
  • Cool down: 10 – 15 minutes
