Best Yoga Studios in Austin

Yoga combines exercise with spiritual practice and has evolved into multiple types. You can opt for spiritual, more meditative yoga to clear your mind and become more aware of oneself; hot yoga, which helps you detox and get that perfect glow; and even Bootcamp-style yoga classes in heated spaces, with infrared, weights and more Pilates built in.

Below you’ll find some of our favorite studios in Austin.

Wanderlust Domain

Wanderlust

Wanderlust is more than just a yoga studio, it’s our favorite yoga studio. They have retreats, workshops, teacher training, and more. With two locations, Downtown and the Domain, they offer multiple styles of yoga including Vinyasa, Power Yoga, Meditation, Yoga Technique, classes with live music, and our pick: YoStrong.

YoStrong is a heated yoga class (between 90-98 degrees) that integrates weight training and athletic conditioning. Another good one is the Candlelight Vinyasa. This is the perfect end to a long day—release toxins in a 84-89 degree room, and surrender into some extra relaxation. Inside the Wanderlust space you will find two studios, a retail boutique. and Blenders and Bowls, an organic cafe with acai bowls and smoothies.

Locations: Downtown at 4th and Brazos (same building as Brazos Hall), and the Domain next to American Eagle

Favorite Instructors: Gustavo (He also teaches at SoulCycle just a block away. His YoStrong and Power classes are so uplifting, and always have amazing music!), Lizzie B (Great for YoStrong, mainly at the Domain), Kaley (also an Ayurvedic wellness coach), Diana (She’s doing a Greece Yoga retreat in August!)

Cost: $28/class (includes mat and towel), $48 for 40 days for new clients (only in the month of January), otherwise $48 for first month
