It is tough to find makeup with clean ingredients and that have quality nutrients for your skin. We’ve tried so many over the years and have found the best of the best in each category.
Concealer
Milk Makeup Flex Concealer – Love how lightweight this one is. It can also be layered for more full coverage. It is super moisturizing!
It includes: Marshmallow Root Extract which helps formula move with your face, no creasing or caking; Blue Lotus to help hydrate skin; and Chamomile to help calm skin.
RMS Beauty “Uncover” Cover Up Concealer – This one is more of a balm and great for those “no-makeup makeup” days.
It includes: Coconut Oil that is extracted from fresh coconuts without the use of heat or chemicals, this coconut oil moisturizes, softens, and soothes the skin and Jojoba Oil which is rich in antioxidants, jojoba quickly absorbs into the skin to nourish and hydrate.
Bronzer & Blush
Wander Beauty Trip For Two Blush & Bronzer Duo – I love the idea of having less compacts in my makeup bag, and the combo of these two colors is perfect. I like the Bellini/ Costa Rei set. The blush is perfectly peachy with a slight gold glow, and the bronzer isn’t too dark or muddy, or orange.
It includes: Mango Seed Butter which is rich in vitamin C to help soothe and brighten skin; Sea Buckthorn Oil to help calm redness and add moisture to skin; and Lotus Flower Extract which helps hydrate and improve the look of dry, flaky skin.
Powder
Ilia Soft Focus Finishing Powder – This translucent powder is great for setting makeup to avoid creases and have it last all day long.
It includes: Aloe which keeps skin feeling soft and supple; Bamboo to help balance oil and leave skin’s surface shine-free; and Rosemary Leaf to soothe irritation.
Foundation
Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 Foundation – This stuff is the best for a natural look, while being still packed full of nutrients.
It includes: Plant-based Squalane which hydrates and visibly improves elasticity without clogging pores; Niacinamide which visibly smooths texture, minimizes the appearance of pores, softens lines, and promotes even tone; and Hyaluronic Acids which penetrates at different levels to visibly plump and boost skin’s moisture levels.
Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer – Great for a days when you don’t want a full face of makeup but need a little coverage.
It includes: Hyaluronic Acid which helps replenish and boost skin’s moisture; Olive-Derived Squalane which quenches dry skin with all-day hydration that feels light and refreshing; and Mineral-Based Sunscreen which protects from damaging UVA and UVB rays.
W3llpeople Tinted Moisturizer – Absolutely love this stuff. You can layer for more full coverage, or it can still be wearable for a natural look.
It has SPF 30 broad spectrum protection with pure zinc, advanced Bio-Peptide Complex to boost collagen, premium natural pigments to correct imperfections, is EWG verified for non-toxic health + safety, and is hypoallergenic, chemical-free, & cruelty-free.
Eyes
Bare Minerals – Strength & Length Serum Infused Mascara – This is stuff has lash serum in it so it is helping to grow and strengthen lashes, but the wand is also applying mascara for super lengthy, separated lashes.
It includes: Red Clover Peptide Serum which provides powerful strengthening benefits for healthier-looking lashes.
Ilia Clean Line Gel Eyeliner – This stuff is super creamy. I prefer the brown shade for a more natural look.
This product is also vegan, cruelty-free, and gluten-free, and comes in recyclable packaging. Free of carbon black and cyclomethicone, this water-resistant formula smoothly slicks on saturated color.
Highlighter
RMS Beauty Living Luminizer – Great for really natural looks. I like the balm type highlighters for a more natural glow vs. the powders. Favorite shade is the “natural” because its more goldy.
It includes: Coconut Oil to help soften and soothe the skin; Vitamin E to protect skin and provide ultra-moisture to soften and soothe; and Castor Seed Oil which acts as a great source of hydration and helps soothe the skin.
